They were playing good music and had enough seating for us to sit down and enjoy our drinks. My boyfriend got a hot Indian Malabar coffee ( part of the freshly brewed menu). Next time we will try their food. Staff were friendly. ”

“ This coffee shop is all the vibes for me. It's tight inside, but there is a lot of seating in there. When I walked in there were a lot of students working away on 9 year old MacBooks (a testament to their quality). There are plenty of food options available, mostly coffee shop fare. The coffee, tea, and drink menu is substantial. My wife got a milk tea and I got a vanilla latte. There was only a single barista at the counter when we arrived, several minutes after we ordered another appeared. The shop was busy and the coffee and tea took some time to come out. I wasn't in a hurry, so I dock no stars. The drinks came out and they were delicious. The prices were also quite good considering you're getting an actually good cup of coffee. If I still lived in Monterey I have a feeling I'd be camped here often. Definitely calling this a 5/5. I'd give it more if I could. Stop in and enjoy! ”

“ This coffee shop is very charming when you walk in a classic looking cafe in the heart of the Central Cost Monterey. It reminds me of old New York style coffee shop. I had the horchata latte and my husband had the vanilla latte. awesome both had whole milk with our lattes. The horchata latte wasn't so sweet the way I like it. You can still taste the coffee and was not overpowering. The vanilla latte wasn't so also delicious. My husband also had while milk and also was o early too sweet. Both lattes were delicious and when we go back to visit Monterey on a couple months , we make sure to stop and get our craft coffee. They do have a lot to offer such as pastries, bagels, smoothies, Fraps , more craft coffee, and a small breakfast menu. This coffee shop is a must in Monterey. ”

“ I just found my new favorite coffee spot in town--**Plumes Coffee House** is a total gem! If you're a coffee lover who appreciates a solid brew without breaking the bank, this place is a must-visit. I tried a **blended frappe** and a **macchiato**, and both were fantastic. The **blended frappe** was perfectly smooth, not overly sweet, and packed with a nice coffee kick. It was refreshingly cold and super satisfying, especially on a warm day. The **macchiato** was also on point--the espresso was rich, bold, and balanced with just the right amount of foam. Both drinks were *fresh*, and you can really taste the quality of the beans they use. What really blew me away, though, was the **portion size**--these drinks were huge, especially for the price! I've been to plenty of places where you pay the same amount for something half the size. At Plumes, you get your money's worth without a doubt. The atmosphere here is cozy, with a nice, chill vibe. It's a perfect spot to grab a quick caffeine fix or settle in with a book. The service is friendly and quick, and the staff seems genuinely happy to be there, which always makes the experience that much better. All in all, Plumes Coffee House has great coffee, great portions, and even better prices. Whether you're looking for a tasty frappe or a classic espresso, they've got you covered. This location was across the street from our hotel and definitely hit the spot for a morning breakkie before attending a seminar at the Marriott. The service was fast, efficient, and the team is incredibly kind. It was a pretty chill cafe vibe with lotsa seatings! ”
